SIX Swindon School of Gymnastics pupils enjoyed success in a competition at Sutton Gymnastic Academy recently.
John Hall shone on the floor and parallel bars, achieving two gold medals.
With men allowed to try out women’s apparatus and vice versa, Lauren Cordingley took silver on high bar in addition to the gold she claimed on the women’s vault.
Laurissa Hyner-Anderson put in a flawless men’s rings routine, taking gold in the process. Hyner-Anderson went on to achieve a further two gold medals, a silver and a bronze on the women’s pieces.
Jodie Waldron made a debut performance on the floor, while Annie Hall also did enought to earn a gold medal.
Anthony Mak won a gold medal on the floor, silver on the vault, rings and pommel horse and a bronze on the high bar, despite a spectacular reverse superman fall.
