That's it for tonight but there's a full report and pictures in tomorrow's Adver.
Sorry for the delay, but some reaction here from boss Alun Rossiter.
“The result was what we needed and I’m really pleased we’ve got it but it is a shame we didn’t get the match finished,” he said.
“The main thing is that everyone’s in one piece because all it would have taken was for someone to slip off and they would have got injured. The main thing was visibility, the track was fine.
“Belle Vue wanted to carry on because they thought they had a sniff of a point but half their team didn’t want to ride.
“At the end of the day we have to take that because we’ve struggled a bit and we’re more than happy to take the three points.
“All the riders contributed and we looked really good out there so there’s plenty of positives.”
A real shame that, but the Robins do get all three Elite League points this evening.
MEETING ABANDONED AFTER 12 HEATS
Robins win 42-33
Heat 12: Gustasfsson, R Worrall, S Worrall, Wright; 71.29 – 4-2 (42-33)
Great first bend from Gustafsson holds off Worrall. Easy from there.
Heat 11: Palm Toft, Morris, Zagar, Batch R; 69.50 – 2-4 (38-31)
Palm Toft goes around everyone in the first bend and, despite being run very wide by Morris on two occasions, he hold on to win.
@MatejZagar55 looking good tonight after his GP win. But he can't do it on his own. Great start from the Robins. #adverspeedway— @redmonster53 26 May 2014
Looks like we're carrying on after this interval. Plenty of water around but bikes out on the track.
Heat 10: Nicholls, Kildemand, Gustafsson, Cook; 68.96 – 3-3 (36-27)
Nicholls gates and the Robins number one can’t catch him.
Heat nine: S Worrall, Wright, Greaves, Johnson; 70.27 – 4-2 (33-24)
Great race between Worrall and Wright which the Robins man eventually wins. Great stuff.
Heat eight: Nicholls, Morris, North, R Worrall; 68.01 – 3-3 (29-22)
Nicholls gates and goes but Morris cuts back in turns one and two to take second. North and Worrall battle it out with the Aussie taking the point.
Heat seven: Gustafsson, Palm Toft, Wright, Worrall; 68.82 – 3-3 (26-19)
Wright in for Johnson, who missed the two minutes. Wright then storms away from the start but Gustafsson works his way through to win.
Brendan Johnson fails to make the two minutes and is excluded from heat seven. Charles Wright.
Heat six: Zagar (tac) Morris, North, Cook FX; awarded – 3-6 (23-16)
Cook goes flying as he chases Morris for second place, with tactical rider Zagar leading, and is excluded.
Matej Zagar is going in black and white.
Live on Sky? Pah! Live at the stadium is the place to be. Awesome start to the meeting. #adverspeedway— @redmonster53 26 May 2014
Heat five: Batchelor, Kildemand, Nicholls, Palm Toft; 67.49 – 5-1 (20-10)
After Palm Toft is flagged for a jump start in the first staging, the Robins duo gate for a maximum.
Palm-Toft makes a flier and the red lights are on. All four back.
Heat four: Wright, R Worrall, North, Greaves; 68.16 – 1-5 (15-9)
After both Robins miss the start Greaves slips off in turn one but remounts. Without his partner, North covers every inch but can’t find a way past.
What a move from @Nathan_Greaves7 there in heat 2. Lovin' it #adverspeedway— @redmonster53 26 May 2014
Heat three: Batchelor, Morris, Nicholls, Cook; 67.72 - 5-1 (14-4)
Two great gates from the Robins are aided by the two Aces getting in each other’s way.
Heat two: Greaves, Worrall, Wright, Johnson FX; 69.14 – 5-1 (9-3)
After Johnson is excluded after going down alone, Greaves rides superbly to win his first ever race at the Abbey. Great gate, used all the track and forced Wright into submission which allowed Worrall through too.
Red lights on going into lap three after Brendan Johnson hits the deck. Greaves gets his bike down but still hits the Aces guest.
Both riders get up but Johnson is excluded.
Heat one: Kildemand, Zagar, Gustafsson, R Worrall; 66.43 – 4-2 (4-2)
Zagar makes the best start but it’s Kildemand who leads coming out of turn two. Gustafsson is there with him briefly but the Aces number one eventually takes him.
Riders at the tapes for heat one.
That minute's silence was also for British Superbikes rider Simon Andrews, well known to Robins boss Alun Rossiter, who died in a track crash recently aged just 30.

I am in shock - more rain & gloomy sky's compared to last Thursday but no news that the meeting has been cancelled yet - sure example that SKY do have influence in these matters despite the constant denials ! Just hope there is some entertaining races for the paying public who brave it tonight.
We're really going to kick on with this meeting due to the wet weather which has been around today, but first we are having a minute's silence for Malcolm Simmons who died today.
But for the Robins it's a full seven, with Peter Kildemand returning to the side after missing Saturday's loss at Eastbourne.
First up is two changes at reserve for the Aces, with Steffan Nielsen and Lee Payne replaced by Brendan Johnson and Charles Wright.
Here we go then, we're going to get a meeting in.
THIS SERVICE BEGINS AT 7.15PM
