KELVIN Young is searching for a new opponent for his first defence of his IBO super-middleweight inter-continental title.
The Penhill pugilist was set to meet to Cesar Hernan Reynoso on Saturday night at the Oasis Leisure Centre.
However, the Argentine does not have the relevant medical forms to allow him to fight in the UK.
Young’s promoter and manager Keith Mayo is now desperately trying to find a new opponent for the 27-year-old.
Young Gun’s trainer Richard Farnan said: “We got the phonecall at 1pm to tell us that the Reynoso fight wasn’t happening.
“It’s a nightmare, I had just started drawing up a plan for Reynoso and now it is back to the drawing board.”
