ROBINS number one Peter Kildemand has admitted his hectic schedule is taking it out of him and that he ‘isn’t enjoying life’ at the moment.

The Dane only notched 6+1 in Swindon’s home loss to Wolverhampton on Thursday night, a drop from usual high standards, prompting Robins boss Alun Rossiter to say he feels Kildemand is tired.

The 24-year-old currently races weekly in the British, Swedish, Danish and Polish leagues and is deep in his campaign to qualify for the Speedway Grand Prix series and has already made it into the field for the European championship.

Now he has admitted his hectic riding schedule is taking its toll, but insisted it was more down to the number of air miles he’s racking up rather than taking part in up to 30 heats each week.

“I have been flat out for quite a long time now and it’s hard to keep going all the time,” he said.

“I raced nearly every day for 10 days in different countries and it’s hard, I’m racing all week next week too so it’s hard.

“I don’t have time to do anything else, it’s either racing or travelling, and you don’t get time to relax or to train or anything like that.

“I don’t really enjoy my life at the moment but I have to do it if I want to keep moving forward. I will be fine soon.

“I’ve been trying to get into the Grand Prix and the European Championship so I’ve had to do them because it was my main goal for the season, but it means I’m so busy. League meetings are a killer because I have them all week too.”

The Dane will not ride for the Robins this weekend at Leicester as he travels to Gorican in Croatia for the next round of Grand Prix qualifying.

dont sign for so many teams.... silly... pick 2 or 3 not all of them. the best riders make good decisios, this doesn't sound like a good decision.
