RAPHAEL Rossi Branco has agreed a new, one-year contract at Swindon Town, manager Mark Cooper has revealed.

Branco was offered fresh terms by the Robins at the end of last season, after proving his worth following his summer arrival from Whitehawk and, with Swindon returning for pre-season training today, news has filtered through of the Brazilian's deal.

Manager Mark Cooper told FLIC Wiltshire: "We managed to find Raffa on Copacabana beach, so somebody has tracked him down."

However, Troy Archibald-Henville is extremely unlikely to be a Town player next season, having not replied to the club's offer of a new contract.

The Advertiser revealed earlier this month how the centre-back is being offered out to clubs in League One and League Two and Cooper said: "The Troy deal is dead more or less."
