SWINDON Town reached the final of the Salver Cup at the Milk Cup with a 3-0 victory over Dundalk today.
The Robins' youngsters got off to a terrific start, with Jack Stanley scoring with a delicate flick, but that early goal cued a torrent of Dundalk pressure.
Having ridden their luck somewhat, coach Jeremy Newton told his players to remain resilient and they duly obliged, soaking up wave after wave of attack before Jayden Mitchell broke free to add a second for the Wiltshire side against the run of play.
Soon after, goalkeeper Declan Lehmann's excellent save kept the Town advantage at two goals before Sol Pryce made it 3-0 to Swindon, latching onto a Jordan Morris clearance to outmuscle his marker and fire home.
Everton now await in the final of the Salver Cup, with kick-off at 11am at Anderson Park in Coleraine tomorrow.
Swindon Town: Declan Lehmann, Jack Stanley, Will Christopher, Mason Hathaway, Albi Hopkins, Callum Gunner, Jordan Morris, Sam Beaumont, Scott Twine, Jordan Young, Jayden Mitchell.
Substitutes: Aaron Holloway, Ullas Akkus, Alex Hallett, Sol Pryce, Harry Hillerby, Ollie Rejek, Luke Haines.
