10:09pm

That's it for tonight, but make sure you're back with us on Monday as the Robins travel to Eastbourne.

10:09pm

Simon Gustafsson replaced Morris at heat leader, and scored a solid six which included two heat wins.

Swindon Advertiser: Simon Gustafsson

SIMON GUSTAFSSON

"It's good to be a heat leader, we all want to be number one so it's a move in the right direction.

"Six is alright, although I want to be scoring 10-plus every week, but this was an okay start."

10:07pm

Nick Morris top scored with 11+1 tonight and was pleased to contribute well having dropped down to second string.

Swindon Advertiser:

NICK MORRIS GETS THE BUMPS AFTER WINNING THE PL PAIRS WITH SOMERSET

"It was really good tonight, I know it is an easier number but I've been working so hard and it's nice it worked.

"There's still work to do and my last three rides were really good, so that's helping me get my confidence back.

"Everything feels better and it showed tonight."

10:04pm

Some words from Alun Rossiter now after his side moved into the Elite League play-off spots after tonight's victory.

Swindon Advertiser: Robins' boss Alun Rossiter

ALUN ROSSITER

“I’m really happy because everyone contributed and the boys dug so deep and produced,” he said.

“Troy didn’t have the best of nights but was still paid for six, so when we have two paid for 11 and one for 12 we can cope with that.

“Nick needs the confidence and is a little low but that will really help him, being at heat leader at 20 is tough and he’s still learning, so this will be really good for him.

“Nathan had a good night but is still learning and it’s all very positive.

“I’m still sure we’ll make the play-offs, people like to be down about it but I’m still really confident we will make it in.”

ROBINS WIN 55-37

9:12pm

Heat 15: Morris, North, Watt, Lawson;67.85 - 5-1 (55-37)

Really good team riding in turn one from the Aussie pair beats their more experienced countryman to end the night on a high.

9:04pm

North, Morris, Lawson and Watt in heat 15

9:03pm

That's all the points secured with one race to go.

9:01pm

Heat 14: Morris, Starke, Newman, Worrall; 67.64 – 3-3 (50-36)

Morris secures all the points for the Robins as he bullies through Starke on the back straight to take the win.

8:57pm

Heat 13: Kildemand, Watt, Batchelor, Bech R; 66.89 – 4-2 (47-33)

Kildemand rounds them all to take a superb victory from turn one, with Batch third.

8:52pm

Heat 12: North, Starke, Lawson, Greaves F; 67.58 – 3-3 (43-31)

North makes a great first corner and wins. Greaves falls off chasing Lawson but it’s still been a great night for him.

8:47pm

Heat 11: Newman, Batchelor, Watt (tac), Gustafsson; 67.71 – 2-5 (40-28)

Watt takes tactical number two but it’s Newman who wins, beating Batchelor well. Gustafsson tried every line but couldn’t pass Watt for third.

8:43pm

Maybe Bridger should have allowed Bech through there. Would only have gained an extra point but they all count.

Watt on another tactical now

8:35pm

Heat 10: Kildemand, Bridger, Bech (tac), North X; 67.12 – 3-4 (38-23)

North is excluded for slipping off on his own and, in the re-run, Kildemand passes Bridger superbly with Bech nowhere.

8:30pm

North slides down in turn one and is excluded. Seems a little harsh.

8:27pm

Bech jumps by a mile and red lights are on. All four back

8:25pm

Mikkel Bech goes in black and white

8:24pm

Heat nine:  Worrall, Greaves, Morley, Starke R; 67.89 – 5-1 (35-19)

Worrall, as expected, wins with ease and Greaves cruises by Starke, who had mechanical issues, to back him up.

8:21pm

Much more comfortable now, but heats 10 and 11 may well give the visitors a chance to use black and white.

8:19pm

Heat eight: Gustafsson, Morris, Lawson, Bridger; 66.27 – 5-1 (30-18)

Gustafsson makes the gate but Morris has to work really hard to pass Lawson and back up his partner.

8:12pm

Ronnie and Terry Russell are currently on the track having a good old look at turn one.

8:11pm

Robins well on top of this without ever looking excellent. They'll still win.

8:08pm

Heat seven: North, Worrall, Newman, Morley; 68.21 - 5-1 (25-17)

Robins 5-1 from the gate.

8:06pm

Strange meeting this, so far. Still backing the Robins to win.

8:04pm

Heat six: Watt, Bech, Morris, Gustafsson R; 66.11; - 1-5 (20-16)

Bech squeezes Morris out on the back straight of lap one and the race is done.

7:59pm

Heat five: Kildemand, Batchelor, Bridger, Newman; 66.65 – 5-1 (19-11)

Bridger makes a good gate but goes wide in turn one and it’s a Swindon maximum.

7:50pm

Heat four: Lawson, Morris, Greaves, Starke; 66.77 – 3-3 (14-10)

Two races in one. Morris can’t pass Lawson but Greaves does well to hold off Starke despite a dash to the line.

7:45pm

Heat three: Gustafsson, Bridger, Bech, Batchelor R; 66.77 – 3-3 (11-7)

Gustafsson gates and goes but Batchelor pulls up and is not happy with the referee. Not sure why.

7:41pm

Heat two: Greaves, Worrall, Starke, Morley; 68.80 – 5-1 (8-4)

Calm and assured from Greaves as he makes a good start and cruises home.

7:36pm

Heat one: Watt, North, Kildemand, Lawson; 65.30 – 3-3 (3-3)

Watt makes the gate from three and wins.

7:32pm

A couple of guests for the Hammers tonight. Paul Starke and Kyle Newman in for Adam Ellis and Kim Nilsson.

7:31pm

That's the parade done and dusted and we're not far away from the start of tonight's meeting.

7:24pm

Bristols says...

Good all round performance from the Robins, it was clear that Batch wasn't feeling 100% but he didn't let us down in Ht 11 when he kept the Tactical Watt behind him and Morris. Nathan well deserved MOM for an excellent score, Dakota and Morris winning heat 15 was the icing on the cake !!!!!Was well pleased with that evenings work!!!!!
