AS THE 2014/15 season draws to a close, it gives us a chance to reflect upon an amazing year both on and off the pitch.

Our sustained Match Day recruitment campaign has seen the Trust numbers grow to over 1,500 active members. This gives us a fabulous platform on which to build.

One of the key things to come out of the year was the the TrustSTFC Five Year Vision, which was established and presented at our AGM. The Vision reminds us of where we, the supporters, would like the club to be in years to come.

It has served as a prompt for much of the Trust work done to-date, and will drive much of the work we have coming up in the future, so let’s review some of the areas within it and see how things have progressed.

We want to see Swindon Town...

n Family Focused - The ‘Trust in Schools’ programme was launched in conjunction with the club to see more children back at the County Ground, and since December we have seen hundreds of extra families coming to games. We’ll continue to campaign for lower prices, and hopefully we’ll see this area continue to develop next season.

n Celebrating History - We launched a Swindon Town educational website within schools, helping youngsters to learn about the rich history of our great Football Club.

n Integrated with Youth Football - We’re building some great relationships with Football In The Community and North Wilts Youth Football League. This will be a big focus area for us next season.

n Having a Full Stadium of Passionate Fans - We’re looking to do more in this area, supporting Town fan Jay Collett and his crusade to make match days a real spectacle. Let’s get the County Ground Rocking!

n Improved Stadium Facilities - Our campaign to put a roof on Stratton Bank is underway and progressing well, but there are other things we would like to do, some of which are simple, but make a big difference.

Finally, it goes without saying that the football has been a huge success. Let’s all play our part now, with massive vocal support both home and away in the play-offs. This is our collective time to shine!
