ADVER Sport’s Matt Edwards hands out his ratings from Town’s 2-1 defeat to Oldham.
Lawrence Vigouroux
Not for the first time this season, the Liverpool loanee could do little about Oldham’s opening goal but did what he could to deny the visitors when called upon. 7
Brad Barry
Was pretty ineffective all game and his performance could probably be summed up by his two efforts on goal. Tame. 5
Raphael Branco
Starting to create a good partnership with El-Abd at the back but failed to get out quick enough to close down Jones for the Oldham goal. 6
Adam El-Abd
Probably Town’s best player on the night as he looked to command the back-line and showed the most passion in a lacklustre performance. 7*
Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill
A young man still looking a bit lost at this level. He endeavoured to get forward well but his final ball was often lacking. 5
James Brophy
Back in a position where he has done well this season but saw little of the ball before being brought off. 5
Drissa Traore
Another tenacious performance from the holding midfielder but is often to blame for the pace being taken out of the game. 6
Anton Rodgers
The midfield player who looked the most likely to give the fans what they wanted - forward passes. However, he still struggled to find Ajose up front on his own. 6
Yaser Kasim
Had a couple of nice passes in an attempt to spark life into Swindon going forward but they were too sporadic as he spent most of the game strolling around. 6
Ben Gladwin
Looked wasted on the left of a front three, but made an immediate impact when he was moved centrally to set up Town’s goal. 7
Nicky Ajose
Another tough night for the small forward as he was left alone up front with little service, but took his goal well at the second time of asking. 7
Substitutes
Jeremy Balmy (on for James Brophy 62’)
Did not make a huge impact when he came on but his energy was a welcome relief. 6
Unused subs: Momar Bangoura, Jordan Stewart, Will Randall, Tyrell Belford, Ellis Iandolo, Henrik Ojamaa
