LEE Tyack continues to lead the NG Road Race Championship after rounds six and seven at Cadwell Park. Victory in Saturday's qualifying race saw Tyack take pole but he had to make do with a podium finish as his battle with Tony Meredith for second and third allowed Chris Beverly to disappear into the distance and take his first race win of the season. Fellow Swindon rider Neil Parsons finished a respectable fourth. Beverley then won Sunday's qualifying race to take pole in round seven, with Tyack third and Parsons fourth. The lead changed hands several times in the final before Beverly completed a weekend double, just ahead of Tyack, with Meredith third and Parsons again in fourth. The Steve Lynham, Gary Vardy and Farley Customs-backed rider's lead in the championship is now 16 points, with Meredith in second, Beverly third and Parsons fourth.
