SWINDON Town have at last lined up pre-season friendlies after revealing they will face Toolstation League Premier Division side Melksham Town and Southern League outfit Swindon Supermarine next month.
David Flitcroft's side will face Marine in their annual summer fixture at Marine's Webbs Wood Stadium on Saturday, July 8 (3pm).
Town will then make the short trip to west Wiltshire to help officially open Melksham's Oakfield Stadium on Tuesday, July 11 (7.30pm).
Melksham, who finished third in the Toolstation League Premier Division last season and made an unsuccessful application to join the Southern League, have been playing in their new facility since the turn of the year.
The matches are the first of the summer to be set up for Flitcroft, who has previously admitted that finding opponents for his side had proved difficult.
Tickets for the Melksham game will be available from Friday (June 23) for callers at the Oakfield stadium between 8.30am-4.30pm.
Tickets will then be on sale the following week at Melksham Town from 8.30am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday with prices at adults £6, OAPs £4 and children U16 £1.
