SWINDON Town’s Checkatrade Trophy match with local rivals Bristol Rovers has been rescheduled for Wednesday, November 8.
David Flitcroft’s side were initially due to make the trip to the Memorial Stadium a day earlier, but as Town’s FA Cup clash was rescheduled for Sunday, November 5, the trophy clash has been moved.
Bristol Rovers, who have former Town man Billy Bodin among their ranks, did the double over Swindon last season in League One.
The last time Swindon claimed a victory over Rovers was seven years ago, when goals from Sean Morrison and Vincent Pericard led them to a 2-1 win at the County Ground in October 2010.
