Player Ratings:
Lawrence Vigouroux – 8.5
Several second half saves that ultimately granted Swindon the opportunity to equalise. Not a lot he could do about the goal.
Kyle Knoyle – 6
Couple of wayward passes and rifled a shot wide in the closing moments when Town were searching for that equaliser. Had better games.
Michael Doughty – 6.5
Little slow in midfield at times, but did link well in the midfield three and continues to be a key part of the squad. Picked up a slight knock, subbed.
Sid Nelson – 5.5
A series of questionable decisions to clear the ball into the stands when under little or no pressure. Battled hard though.
Olly Lancashire – 5.5
Sloppy start to the game, but as Town grew into the game pressure was lifted. The start of the home side’s attacks on more than one occasion.
Jermaine McGlashan - 6
His departure signalled an upturn in fortunes for Town, but he certainly did not disgrace himself. Subbed.
Marc Richards – 5.5
Quiet game for Town’s experienced forward. Missed a golden opportunity in the first half. Otherwise steady. Positive to play 90 minutes after his injury.
Keshi Anderson – 5.5
Much improved in the second half after a poor first 45. Made some bursting runs and had more urgency.
Steven Alzate – 6.5
Creator and playmaker. Unfortunate to not win a penalty when fouled in the second half. Old head on young shoulders performance.
Martin Smith – 5.5
Wasn’t afraid to pull the trigger. A steady midfield performance that improved. Subbed.
Matt Taylor – 6
Plenty of crosses but none that really hit the spot, in saying that Town’s aerial presence in the box wasn’t great. Hard working as ever.
SUBS:
Elijah Adebayo – 8
Has to be praised for his late and clinical finish under pressure.
Ellis Iandolo – 8
Injected plenty of pace into Town’s options on the left, peppered the box with crosses and proved a nuisance.
Jak McCourt – 7.5
Hard-working performance. Caused Milton Keynes problems with his long-range throws. Improvement on Forest Green appearance.
