THERE were goals galore in the Under 10 West Division, where three matches produced 27 goals.

Match of the day was the 10-goal thriller between Highworth Juniors and Hungerford.

First half goals from Kalam Ahmed, Adam Jelley, and a long range effort from Sam Downs, put Highworth in control at 3-1 at the break.

Another goal by Jelley made it 4-1, but then Hungerford staged a remarkable comeback to pull the score back to 4-3.

A volley by Joe Adams made it 5-3 but again Hungerford hit back to make it 5-4. Jelley got his second to seal a memorable 6-4 victory.

Abbey Meads defeated Wootton Bassett 9-0 with goals from Jack Uzzell, Mikey Ejsmont, Jack Davies, Charlie Bridger, Jordan Littler, and four from Sam Edwards, including a second-half hat-trick inside five minutes.

Swindon Rangers romped to an 8-0 victory against a battling Coleview Juniors side.

Jake Tyson scored the pick of the first half goals, Matty Jones kept up his fine scoring run with another hat-trick, while Reece Cobb added two more to take his tally to 25 this season.

Rangers' man of the match Taylan Ozdemir completed the scoring with two second half goals.

Fairford applied significant pressure but the Brinkworth Cats' defence managed to hold them off. A goal from Jake Covey, wrapped up a 1-0 victory for the Cats.

Eldene Rangers and Wroughton drew 1-1, with Declan Pike netting for Eldene.

Under 18 Chalford took the three points at Wroughton with a 4-2 victory. Josh Goldworthy scored both goals for Wroughton.

Under 15 Division 1 Liden regained the top spot with a hard fought win over Purton. Tyler Lane opened the scoring for Liden and then put in a corner for Lawrie Smith to head home.

After the break, Purton fought back hard only for Nathan Hudson to increase Liden's lead from a through ball by Lane.

Purton never gave up though and Dean Godwin scored a terrific 30-yard free kick, just before the final whistle, to make it 3-1.

Shaw managed to defeat a hard working Pewsey Vale team, running out 3-0 winners. Shaw opened the scoring through Dominic Rekowski, who finished off an excellent passing move involving Liam O'Brien and Aaron Webb.

O'Brien added a second, knocking in a rebound after the keeper made a good save from Henry Traas.

Kristopher Redford secured the points for Shaw, adding a third with 15 minutes to go.

Under 14 Division 1 Highworth Juniors retained their 100 per cent league record with a 5-2 win against Croft A.

They took an early two-goal lead, both scored by Danny Hale, but the deficit was halved by half- time thanks to a strike from Robbie Ali.

After the break, Hale completed his hat-trick for Highworth, making it 30 goals this season, but this was cancelled out immediately by another Ali strike from a free kick.

Croft continued to press forward, but conceded two more goals, from Brad Hooper and an own goal, to make the final score 5-2.

Under 14 Division 3 A great performance from the Wickham Wanderers keeper, with the assistance of the posts and crossbar, kept a dominant Old Town Utd B at bay for the whole of the first half.

Eventually Old Town got the breakthrough with Tom Ballard netting twice (one a penalty) and James Relen adding another to give them a 3-0 victory.

Bradley Ray and Lewis Chubb (2), scored the goals to beat Greenmeadow 3-1 in an exciting game at Penhill Allstars.

Under 13 Division 2 Shaw A and Shrivenham & Watchfield Royals shared 10 goals in a thriller. Royals' scorers were Matt Gil (2), Elliot Day (2) and Will Bazen.

Penhill Knights continued their great away form with a 4-0 win at Hungerford.

Kyle Saunders opened the scoring for Penhill with a well-taken goal. A brilliant through ball from Connor Cooke put Zak Keegan in for Penhill's second.

Hungerford had a chance cleared off the line before Keegan scored his second and Penhill's third. Daniel Peapell finished the scoring for Penhill, making it 4-0 to the visitors.

Under 13 Division 3 After a close first half, Greenmeadow ran away with their match at Wanborough to eventually win 11-2. Their goals came from Jack Townsend (3), Tom Swindall (2), Karl Lewington, Liam Jones, Jamie Cooper, Mark Hutton, Lee Toomey, and an own goal. Wanborough responded through Will Brittain and Matt Raymond.

Under 12 Division 2 Luke Parsons scored an early goal to put FC Abbey Meads in front, but Fairford came back with an equaliser.

Abbey Meads went ahead again through Harvey Barrow to end a relatively quiet first half.

After the break, Abbey Meads put away five more goals, two for Thomas Baldwin and three for Harvey Barrow, to make the final score 7-2.

Croft won the derby fixture against Old Town Utd by the odd goal in three. Croft goalscorers were skipper Andrew McNaught and a 20-yard rocket from Drew Roberts.

Under 12 Division 3 Bassett Rangers maintained second place in the league with a dominant 8-1 win over Tetbury. Their man of the match, James Webb, scored five goals, while two more came from Jack Jones and one from Callum Garlick.

Robbie Waite opened the scoring for Lambourn at Swindon Soccer Skills, from a Scarlett cross. George Thatcher doubled the score, but Swindon pulled one back before the break thanks to a free kick by Michael Wilkins.

After the break, Lambourn's man of the match Geren Scarlett added two more, Michael Elliott scored his first of the season, and Thomas Rackham rounded off the scoring to give Lambourn a 6-1 win.

Under 11 West Wroughton beat Greenmeadow 2-0 with goals from Grant Sanders and Curtis Payne.

Under 11 Central In a close game, South Swindon ran out 5-4 winners away to Old Town Utd. Old Town's goals were scored by Donal Mann (2), Joel Hutton and Craig Lofts.

Adam Bartlett capped a fine debut for Shrivenham & Watchfield Royals, scoring twice. Tom Baxen and Liam Deans got one apiece to secure a 4-2 victory against a spirited Cirencester Town B.

Greenmeadow bagged a useful 11-5 away win at Wanborough, with goals from Aiden Patterson (3), Jermaine Hemmings (2), Luke Twine (2), Freddy Gammer (2), Jake Matthews and Ryan Hackett.

Under 10 North Swindon Rangers A maintained their 100 per cent record with a 4-0 victory over a well organised Shrivenham & Watchfield side.

Superb defending by Shrivenham kept Rangers at bay until just before half-time. Alex Fenton opened the scoring with a fine long range strike.

Debutant Luke Neves made it 2-0 with an excellent header, and Fenton netted his second after a well-worked corner. Jack Steed, having hit the crossbar twice, finally grabbed his goal to wrap the game up.

Under 10 North In an entertaining and sporting fixture between the two teams, Highworth Town A secured a 1-0 win over Shaw B with a goal from Liam Haines.

Under 10 South Liden were quick out of the starting blocks against visitors Uffington and Bradley Mark opened the scoring.

The second half saw Uffington come out stronger, putting pressure on Liden, which resulted in an equaliser from a corner, courtesy of Oliver Rees. Strong performances from both sets of defenders kept the final score to 1-1.

Under 10 Central An even match between Brinkworth Cats and Ashton Keynes saw Cats score first through Martin Sinclair.

Ashton Keynes fought back and some confusion in the Cats' penalty area led to a poached equaliser. After that, neither team could break the deadlock and the game finished 1-1.

Marlborough went down 3-2 at home to Ramsbury. Oliver Morris scored both Marlborough goals.

Early pressure paid off for Highworth against Stratton, when Reese Snowdon shot powerfully into the bottom corner and then Will Richardson finished a passing move for the second.

Billy Aldritch added a brace, his first a penalty, and his second a free kick.

Under 9 North In an exciting fixture between Stratton Juniors and White Horse Juniors, Stratton took the lead twice but the visitors pulled it back twice to make it 2-2 at the interval.

In the second half, Stratton came out on top, scoring a further two. Stratton's scorers were Jordan Morris and Kieran Moran, each with a brace.

Under 9 South A superb team performance saw Shrivenham & Watchfield Royals beat Liden 3-1 to move further clear at the top of the table with nine wins from nine games.

Shrivenham took control and they were rewarded with an opener by Dennis Drexel.

They increased their lead when captain Jack Tomes struck from 25 yards.

Liden battled strongly until Shrivenham sealed their victory with a third goal from Harry Bateman, but their determination earned them a consolation goal when Aiden Bennett scored, to make the final score 3-1.

Stratton Juniors B had a great 12-0 win at Shaw. The home team worked hard to stay in the game but Stratton were too strong. The goals came from Samuel Lobb (4), Lewis Wray (3), Callum Richardson (3), Ryan Skinner and Sam Walker.
