DIVISION Two side Duckhams reached the quarter-finals of the Knockout Cup after beating Merlin from the top flight 4-2, writes STEVE ASHLEY.

Terry Adams with a double, James Bradfield and Neil Edwards were the Duckhams scorers.

The other two matches were both won in extra time. AFC Cricklade beat Lava Lounge 4-3 with Ricky Mazzotta, Sam Reason (2) and Max Lesley on the mark. Rob Smith and Jordan King with a brace scored for the Lounge.

Rodbourne Arms surrendered a half time 3-1 lead to be taken into the extra period and eventually go out 4-3 to Dorcan Old Boys. Wayne Savory, Dave Pritchard and Aiden Williams all scored for the Arms with Gary Matthews, Dan Clayton, Ian Wilmer doing the same for Dorcan before Lee Mason fired in the winner.

Division 1 Leaders Penhill Utd edged out Juventus JM 1-0 with a Darren Smart goal.

A Dave Slattery double (one a penalty) and an Arthur Levett effort enabled Greyhound to beat SKS Blyskawica 3-1 for whom Fab Stec replied.

Alex Green with a double and Sam Mepham helped AFC Gas to win 3-2 at Haydon Wick WMC with Rich Martin and Dennis King scoring for the Wick.

Division 2 After last week's cup exit, leaders GW Nalgo soon got back into winning ways with a 2-1 home win against KMLC with goals from Terry Bohane and Lee Sims.

Division 3 Nine Elms continue to win at the top with a 6-0 home success against Dynamo Ashton. Steve Yeardley knocked in a hat- trick, and Warren Fuller (2) and Paul Webb also netted.

Behind them Mallard Lyneham hammered Autocolour 7-1 with goals from Carl Dawson with a four-timer, Dave Jones (2) and Lee Craddock.

Castrol won 7-3 at Pembroke Utd. On the mark were Martin Stratford, Joe Matano, Craig Graham and Craig Ingram with four. The Pembroke replies came from Dean Bird, Sean Harper and Phil Smith.

Wanborough defeated Bell Hotel 7-2. Pete Myall (3), Mark Brimson(2), Tony Tyler and Mike Kent all scored in a welcome win.

Division 4 Leaders Intermach Wheatsheaf bounced back from last week's defeat at AA Drainaway with a 2-0 win at brave eight-man Abbey Scaffolding Dolphin.

A goal in each half from Nathan Over and Jon Webb sealed the game.

Matt Bissett, Neil Strange and Barry Taylor all scored for AA Drainaway in their 3-1 home win against South Marston, whose solitary reply came from Mark Hughes.

Queenstown Sunday won 2-1 at LPA Campbell James with Tom Green and Jason Coe on the mark, Mike Scarff hit the consolation for Campbell.

Division 5 Joint leaders Village Inn were well beaten at home to New Century WMC 7-0.

Lee Stoddard with a hat-trick, Ady Roper (2), Chris Oke and Jack Baverstock also scored.

GTS won 5-3 at Nationwide with James Arthur, Martin King and Jon Lampard (3) all hitting the back of the net.

Nationwide replied from Phil O'Farrell (2) and Jason Ponting.

Inter Sandgate and Fox & Hounds drew 1-1, Jason Smith and Ashley Gee scoring for their respective teams.

Division 6 Joe Herbert scored for leaders Stratton Utd who were held to a surprising 1-1 draw at home to Cats Solutions.

In third spot are White Hart Stratton, who followed up their impressive win at home to the leaders last week by winning at Pinehurst Community. Shane Hibbert claimed the Pinehurst consolation.

AFC Royston won 3-2 at Smart Movers with one apiece for Nick Wimshurst, Nick Pagett and Andy Pocock. Paul Sanders and Luke Adams replied.

Also registering a 3-2 away success were Coleview, who, courtesy of Martin Lewis, Ben Fitzgibbon and Jason Heron, beat Lamb Marlborough, whose scorers were Richard Cook and an own goal.

Division 7 West Swindon Wanderers joined Carters Rest in second spot after the two clubs met. Goals from Jason Pickett and Andy Woodman gave the Wanderers a 2-1 win.

A four-timer for Ash Andrews and Jason Cobb with a hat trick saw Walcots Finest to an 8-3 victory at Famous Ale House.

John Shoesmith netted the other goal.

Ale House, who finished the game with nine men, had Dan Ludlow (2) and Dan Bond on the scoresheet.

Nick Thomas and Jamie Souch were on the mark for Thamesdown AFC who drew 2-2 at Swindon City.

Division 8 The top two clubs, Penhill Aces and Wheatsheaf Stratton met, drawing 4-4 in a game where the Aces surrendered a 3-1 lead.

Doubles from Blaine Fitzgerald and Rich Smith were cancelled out by a Mike Corcoran hat-trick and Craig Smith.

Brad Rutland (2), and Tim Hughes were among the scorers for Halcrow who won 4-1 at Red Lion Wootton Bassett. Dave Telling replied for the Lion.

Roughmoor Rangers beat Swindon Macs 1-0 and Swindon Snooker won 7-2 at Ventrolla thanks to Charlie Knowles with a hat-trick, Andy Morse with a double, Rich Walker and Kris Walklett.

The Ventrolla goals came from James Street and Eddie Damarell.

Patheon beat Mercedes Benz 5-3 with Tony Cutting firing in a hat-trick, Andy Wiles and Ross Taylor adding further goals.
