FAIRFORD and Wootton Bassett were Hellenic League winners last night, but Highworth Town were beaten at home.
Sammy Ibrahim’s 15th-minute strike was enough for Ardley United at Highworth in the Premier Division.
Fairford though were winners at home by the same score, Jack Williams with their goal two minutes after half-time.
In Division One West, Bassett recorded a 2-1 success over Winterbourne United.
The home side fell behind after 12 minutes, but two goals in two minutes just after the half-hour clinched it.
Paul Hunt levelled on 31 minutes before Lee Moulton won it two minutes later.
