SKS Blyskawica boss Phil Trueman has major selection issues ahead of their table-topping clash at KC FC in the Wiltshire League Division One tomorrow.

The pair go head to head at KC’s Ermin Street ground, with the unbeaten hosts knowing another victory can propel them into top spot at the expense of their opponents.

But Blyskawica’s task of inflicting KC’s first defeat has been made even harder with the loss of up to seven first-team regulars.

“It’s a big game and I’m struggling,” revealed SKS manager Trueman. “I’ve had four players tell me they can’t play already and I’m still waiting to hear back from another three. There’s a stag do, which a lot of the lads are all going on.

“We had a disappointing result last week, getting beaten by Chalke Valley, so hopefully we can bounce back this weekend.

“With the side we’ve got, a draw would be a good result in the circumstances.”

Elsewhere in the division, rejuvenated Blunsdon United are at home against third-placed Intel, while Malmesbury Victoria travel to Minety.

There are also away games for AFC Abbey Rodbourne, Wroughton Reserves and Swindon Nalgo, who are at Chalke Valley, Castle Combe and Lower Stratton respectively.

Action in the Premier Division sees fourth take on first as New College entertain current pace-setters Calne Town, and victory for the College youngsters could take them to within a point of the summit.

Stef Kuczynski’s high-flying Purton side are at home against struggling Westside, while Wroughton face Melksham and Marlborough Town tackle Shrewton United.

In Division Two, runaway leaders Greenmeadow entertain Castle Combe Reserves, while second placed Byrons Wanderers are at home against Marlborough Town Reserves.

Chiseldon take on Wilton Town, KMLC FC go head to head with Swindon Irons, Moredon Cheney face Pembroke, and Blunsdon United Reserves are away at Ramsbury.
