TOWN sponsors FourFourTwo magazine and EA Sports have both added their support to the Red Army Fund (RAF), by donating items to be auctioned at the planned fundraising event on August 4.
EA Sports have donated copies of the video game FIFA 09, while FourFourTwo have donated two subscriptions and one of the auction’s star items, a full kit suitable for a Sunday league side.
The brand new kit, made by Stanno and mainly navy blue, consists of 16 numbered shirts, including a goalkeeper’s jersey, shorts, and socks.
An audience with Town legend Don Rogers, manager Danny Wilson, and club captain Gordon Greer, a former RAF-funded loan signing will also take place.
Entry is free and it begins at 7.30pm in the County Ground Legends Lounge.
Meanwhile, kick-off for Swindon Supermarine’s friendly at Wantage Town tonight has been changed from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
The triallist forwards that played against Bath City last week - Sam Wade, Temipope Arojogun and Andy Philpott - are expected to feature again and Danny Allen is due to return from a sore back.
