Under 17/18 Division Two

IN the battle between second-placed Wootton Bassett Town C and third-placed Purton, it was Bassett who took all three points in a comfortable 12-2 victory.

Danny Hale led the way with a hat-trick and there were braces for Brad Hooper, Eddie Herbert and Jacob Hayden.

Sam Farr, Eliot Wheatley and an own goal completed the scoring for Bassett.

Under 16 Division One

Croft Juniors won 3-2 away to AFC Barbury, with Jamie Pidgion and Jake Kevern scoring for the home team.

Under 15 Division Two

Shaw A got back to winning ways against Greenmeadow B with Dan Johnson scoring a hat-trick, Ezra Martin getting two, Bobby Gale’s lobbing in from 20 yards and Max Hackman also scoring to give Shaw a 7-3 win.

Mason Carter got his first goal of the season for Greenmeadow, with Ben New and Lee Toomey getting the others.

Under 15 Division Three

Highworth Town Juniors T turned in another spirited performance against undefeated Penhill Knights to secure a well-earned 2-1 victory.

Both Highworth goals came from David Baird in the first half, with a second half reply coming from Penhill’s David Heskett.

Wanborough climbed to the top of the table with an excellent second half display against Stratton Youth.

The match was poised at 1-1, before Wanborough took command and eventually ran out 8-1 winners, with goals from Will Brittain (3), Jack Pethick (2), Luke Berwick, Jonny Leighfield and Matt Raymond.

Under 14 Division four

There was a close game between Northern Lights S and Wanborough. Wanborough narrowly won 5-3, with a hat trick from Will Hooton and two from Josh Rowland.

Under 13 Division one

Wootton Bassett Town A played some good football in the first half but were unable to convert their chances and ASC Youth went in at half time 1-0 ahead.

After the break, Bassett succumbed to another goal, but a goal from Craig Mclauclin put them back in the game and a free kick from Reuben Querzani tied the scores and Max Kitchin won it for Bassett.

Under 13 Division Two

FC Abbeymeads came away with a 7-3 victory against Fairford Youth.

The star of the show was Alasdair Little who scored five, with Josh Feltham and Haydn Pugh each scoring as well.

Highworth Town Juniors T went two down against Calne before pulling back to win the game 5-3. Amara Holgate scored his first hat-trick for Highworth, with Nicos Manilos and Greg Sturgess getting the others.

Under 13 Division Three

Old Town United put on an attacking display against Blunsdon Colts, with Thomas Whitham and Scott Brown both getting hat tricks in the 10-0 win.

Adam Bertram, Joseph Ouldridge and Bradley Keene also scored for Old Town.

Under 12 Division One

Lydiard Youth ran out 7-1 winners over Eldene Rangers, with Kieran O'Donahue scoring Eldene's consolation goal.

Alex Dinsmore scored two for Lydiard, with Will Thorne, Gary O’Reilly, Alex Hamilton and Brad Houston also scoring to keep up the team’s 100 per cent record.

Shrivenham & Watchfield beat Wanborough 7-1, with Jacob Makin touching in Jason Raymond’s shot for Wanborough’s consolation goal.

FC Abbeymeads overcame Highworth Town Juniors H side. Lewis Newman scored an early goal and then doubled the advantage. Jack Uzzell made it three before Highworth pulled a goal back.

Jake O’Neill then finished after a mazy run, before Lewis Newman completed his hat-trick with a late penalty.

Under 12 Division Three

Pinehurst Rangers hosted Greenmeadow P and James Webb converted an early penalty to put the visitors ahead. Pinehurst came back, scoring through Connor Middleton and Macauley Thomas.

Greenmeadow started to get their passing game working, with James Wood finishing a good move to level the scores.

Greenmeadow then took control and goals from Oli Frost, Kieran Locke and James Webb produced a 5-2 win.

Under 11 Division Three

Chiseldon scored 14 without reply against Ashton Keynes.

James Keen started the scoring, followed by goals from Benjamin Powell, Scott Perrett (2), Hayden Garraway (2), Jamie Williams, Jack Karpinski, Owen Cheesley (2), Sam Palmer and a hat-trick from Jamie Corden.

Under 10 Division Two

Wroughton Youth were 2-0 up against Hungerford Town Juniors after goals from Brandon Duddy and Alistair Moxham. Hungerford scored twice in the second half and the game finished 2-2.

Wroughton Youth lost 5-4 to Stratton Youth, with goals coming from Riegan Cook (2), Ben Hunter and Mason Burke.

Croft Juniors beat Shaw 7-0 with goals from Josh Ukoha (3), Milo Bolton (2) and Ritchie Harwar (2).

Sam Murby opened the scoring for Lydiard against Highworth Town Juniors H, following up on a header. Charlie Emmerson then sealed a 2-0 win.

Under 10 Division Three

Ferndale Rodbourne continued their fine start to the season, coming back from a goal down at half-time to beat Ramsbury Juniors 4-1.

Ferndale's goals came from Harry Kearns, Callum Ratcliffe (2) and Joshua Blackmore.

Highworth Town Juniors J continued their winning run with a 4-0 win over Purton Youth B with goals from Brandon Coombs, Aidan Van Der Heiden, Oliver Le Bon and Christian Durrant-Williams.

Pewsey Vale and Wootton Bassett Town B shared four goals, with a goal for each team in each half. Pewsey took an early lead before Declan Coffey levelled for Bassett.

Bassett then took the lead late in the second half through George Staten, only for Pewsey to square the match with time almost up.

Under 10 Division Four

Croft Juniors B put in a great performance against Stratton Juniors, winning 12-0.

The Croft goals came from Luke Bolton (4), Oliver Bunce (2), Josh Tesch (2), Ben Wilkie (2), Liam Reason and Reuben Wakeley.

Under 9 Division One

Croft Juniors beat Swindon Robins 8-0. Daniel Skinner (3), Harry Timberell (2), Jamie Boam (2) and an own goal were the contributors.

Ferndale Rodbourne lost out 8-2 to Purton A. Purton opened the scoring before Ferndale equalised through Declan Cook.

Purton grabbed three more goals before Josh Dixon managed to get one back for Ferndale. Purton’s further goals came from Adam Thorn (4), Michell Cremin (2), George Sawford and Hamsa Amaan.

Swindon Rangers A recorded their seventh consecutive win with a 9-1 victory against Stratton Juniors. Charlie Lawrence grabbed a hat-trick from midfield. Joe Tyson continued his fine goal-scoring form with his fifth hat-trick of the season, as Dan Hopper, Toby Kutassy and Cameron Liffen also weighed in with a goal each.

Greenmeadow were beaten 2-1 by Lydiard Youth. Ben Pugsley opened the scoring for Lydiard. Greenmeadow equalised in the second half, but Lydiard gained their second through Thomas Chilton’s drive.

Under 9 Division Two

Wanborough recorded their first win of the season against Shaw.

Aaron Knight led the scoring with five, closely followed by Jesse Bakare with four. Archie Connor and Joe Smith got a goal apiece in the 11-5 win.

Under 9 Division Three

Stratton Juniors B came out on top against Liden Community A. Xavi Diaz-Butcher and Cameron Bolt got the goals in the 2-0 win.

Swindon Rangers B produced another win against a determined Penhill Knights side. Callum Marson scored a hat-trick for Rangers, with the game finishing 6-3. The other goals came from Cameron Potter, Ethan Hughes and Daniel Farley.

Under 9 Division Four

Tetbury Town took an early lead against Wootton Bassett Town B, but couldn't add to it in the first half. Bassett equalised through Ashley Mills but Tetbury managed to score the winner right at the end.

Purton B enjoyed an 8-0 success over Swindon Supermarine. Purton’s scorers were Jay Crabbe (3), Ethan Steel (2), Sam Sullivan, Linford Mitchell and Louis Brown.

Meanwhile, Croft Juniors progressed to the last 16 of the Under 11 County Cup thanks to a 5-1 home win over Derry Hill.

Goals from Robert Jankov-Ebsworth and Joseph Kirby followed by a brace from Louis O’Shea and another from Kirby were enough to send Croft through. Penhill Allstars lost 4-1 at home to Ferndale Rodbourne.

Ferndale were faster out of the blocks, with two early goals from Harry Skinner and Bertram Clement hitting the post. In the second half, Penhill scored an early goal. Skinner then separated the teams further and Aaron Rowland rounded off the scoring.

Highworth Town Juniors T crashed out to a much stronger Devizes team, going 7-0 down by half time.

The second half proved to be much more evenly-matched with two consolation goals for Highworth provided by Michael Church.
