In the league, Division Two’s bottom side Tap & Barrel played leaders The Dolphin and came away with a creditable 2-2 draw, thanks to Kevin Baker and Andy Drinkwater.

Wanborough also dropped valuable points, going down 2-1 to the Five Bells with a brace from Steve Matthews.

In Division Three, leaders New Century dropped points after being held to a 3-3 draw by CK Scaffolds. In Division Five, Westbrook and West Swindon fought out a 2-2 draw with Scott James scoring two penalties for West Swindon.
