FIRST half goals from Craig Easton and Ben Hutchinson helped a strong Town side to a 2-1 win at Salisbury in the Wiltshire Premier Shield semi-final first leg tonight.

Including the likes of Callum Kennedy, Anthony McNamee, Michael Timlin and Charlie Austin, Swindon opened the scoring on 15 minutes when Easton slid home a cross from the left.

And they doubled their advantage on the half-hour mark as Hutchinson rounded Salisbury keeper James Bittner to roll the ball home.

Toby Parsons pulled one back midway through the second half for the hosts, but Town held on.
