DANNY Wilson believes one moment of individual skill could be enough to determine tomorrow’s League One play-off final against Millwall.

Swindon take on the Lions at Wembley for a place in next season’s Championship, in front of an expected crowd of 80,000.

And Wilson expects it to be a tight affair against a Millwall side who are defensively resilient.

“They are very strong, well organised and well disciplined under Kenny (Jackett, Millwall manager), which they always have been since he arrived,” said the boss.

“In their semi-final there was absolutely no room for Huddersfield to play. They stifled everything they had.

“Millwall will be very difficult to break down, but they can be broken down and we’ve had two good games against them this year which have both been very tight. I don’t see the final being any different.

“It’s very difficult to call. It’s on the day maybe a little bit of individual brilliance will change the game.

“I can’t see for one minute it being an open game. It will be keenly contested.”

Wilson will ensure he has done his homework on their opponents, but reiterated his belief that Town will go into the winner-takes-all clash as underdogs.

“You’ve got to try and analyse every person and system you’ve played against,” he said.

“What we don’t want is to be taken by surprise.

“We’ve had two very tough games against them.

“There’s only been a cigarette paper between us on both occasions.

“We’ve seen what these games can throw up at times, and on occasions the less fancied teams can go through, as we’ve seen recently.

“I think we are the less favourites.

“If you look at the experience in the Millwall side and the fact that they have been in the position they were last season, then I think they will be favourites this year.”
