THE current partnership between Swindon Town Football in the Community Trust and Swindon Pertemps will reach new heights on Saturday, June 26.

Swindon Pertemps director, Anne Wilkes, has agreed to fund the cost of three parachute jumps on behalf of charity.

The daredevil trio making the jump will be Football in the Community’s Joe O’Brien and Nikki Carvey and Indie Thiara of Pertemps, as they aim to raise £20,000.

Prospect Hospice, British Heart Foundation and Swindon Football in the Community Trust will each receive a third of the money.

O’Brien said: “Pertemps has really stepped up to the plate on the sponsorship and partnership agreement with STFITC.

“The business partnership model shared between Pertemps and STFITC is a great advert for how to work together with local business to help benefit the community.”

Swindon Pertemps have also agreed to raise their annual sponsorship, which will help Swindon Football in the Community Trust achieve its goal of delivering programmes designed to broaden the relationship between Swindon Town Football Club and the local community.

Football in the Community also aims to deliver the Football League goal of promoting social inclusion, health, sports participation and education.
