CHARLIE Austin has been given permission to talk to Championship outfit Ipswich by the Swindon Town hierarchy, the Advertiser understands.
The 21-year-old striker has been subject to approaches from Ipswich, Blackpool, Southampton and Burnley, but the latter two clubs are believed to be out of the race to snap up the youngster.
And after Town accepted a bid from the Tractor Boys earlier today, Austin has arrived at Portman Road to discuss personal terms.
