Swindon Town have appointed Paolo Di Canio as their new manager, as first revealed by the Advertiser yesterday.
The club will release a statement at 12pm today where they will confirm their decision to hand the Italian his first chance in management.
Di Canio was a popular player during his time in England with the likes of West Ham and Sheffield Wednesday, and also played for Italian giants Lazio and AC Milan.
