Dear all, Well after all the 'Fun of the Fair' regarding supporters not being allowed into the ground then the disappointment at the behaviour of the team, we now hear that the issues are resolved and that the fans can now cheer on the team in person on Saturday.

I'm not sure about you but the news after the match on Tuesday really knocked the stuffing out of me and has left me feeling a bit flat as it explained a lot about the on pitch performance levels.

Gillingham v Swindon always revives a range of feelings, I for one remember the on and off pitch troubles from the 70s but I'm hoping that for this Saturday the Swindon fans focus on supporting the team and cheering them to what could be a title winning victory, regardless of anything that has gone before.

The players certainly owe everyone a big apology and the best way to do that is to win on Saturday, although that won't be easy as we don't have the best of records at Gillingham. Records show that we have only won once since November 1937 and that was a 3-1 win in the year of Macari's record breaking title but not the same season.
