VETERAN White Horse Harrier Tim Hughes rolled back the years to be see off the challenge of several younger competitors as he finished second in the Commonweal Five Mile.
The 61-year-old finished second in a time of 29.29, pipping Lee Kuklinski, a man nearly half Hughes’s age, by 0.7 seconds at the line.
It was also a good day for Swindon Harriers as they picked up a double win, Gary O’Brien topping the men’s category in 28.52 and Jenny Connolly taking the women’s prize in 35.21.
The rest of the women’s podium was made up by Lauren Davidge (36.54) and Nicky Phillips (37.05).
