SWINDON & DISTRICT men’s treasurer and competitions secretary Paul Boyles bids for three titles on Saturday as the Men’s Association stage their annual finals day at Faringdon on Saturday.

The Purton bowler faces Keith Carter (Shrivenham) in the morning in the Officers Cup and at lunchtime, plays former S&D men’s president Chris Payne (Garrards) in the senior (O60s) singles final.

He teams up with clubmates Andrew Hunt and Eric Matthews to face another Purton team in the triples final in mid-afternoon.

Supermarine defend the Eddie Wells team title against Garrards while Alan Small (Wootton Bassett) returns to defend his title, albeit with a different partner in the pairs.
