WILTSHIRE men’s team to play Hampshire in the second round of the Liberty Trophy, inter-county championship, at Westlecot tomorrow is dominated by players from the host’s indoor club.

The Old Town club supply 14 of the 24 players with Christie Miller, Melksham, next best with seven, while the other three are drawn from Five Rivers, Salisbury.

Neither of the other two indoor clubs in the county have a player named but one each from Swindon Manor and North Wilts (Chippenham) are listed in the reserves.

Wiltshire earned their second round tie with Hampshire after a fighting first round 123-117 win against Gloucestershire.

The Wiltshire side chosen to face Hampshire shows three player as well as several positional changes to the one that defeated Gloucestershire.

A late change as Kyle Anderson is unavailable sees Tom Pittuck step up from the subs bench to number two in rink four with Terry Walton moving down to three and Mike Titcombe entrusted with the skips responsibility.

The other switches see James Richman and Jordan Moody revert to the reserves bench with Paul Kistle and Craig Morphet stepping up from it.

The Liberty game has once again been switched from North Wilts, Chippenham to Westlecot (10am) as it clashes with a Ladies Yetton Trophy match which all this season have priority.

Last time it was a third round match now it is a fourth round tie between North Wilts and Taunton Deane.
