EGHAM Trophy matches take centre stage this weekend.
Westlecot’s mixed team have registered two victories in the tournament so far this season after defeating Oxfordshire rivals Carterton 69-53 and followed it up with a convincing 98-51 success over Gloucestershire neighbours Fairford a fortnight ago.
Tomorrow, the Old Town club’s side enter the Egham fray again but will face a stiff test.
They have been drawn against top Berkshire indoor side Desborough who won the Egham Trophy three times in a row from 2011 and have a proud record in the competition. They were the inaugural winners in the 1992/93 season.
The Westlecot selectors make numerous positional changes to the side that beat Fairford but the Steve Remington rink remains untouched.
The Smith family of dad Neil and his two daughters England international U25 trialists Lucy and Katy come in to replace Chris Cheesley, Julia Hunt and Jayne Croston.
