THE Smith sisters, Lucy 21, and Katy 20, have reached today's final of the national U25 ladies singles being staged at City of Ely IBC.
The Westlecot pair were kept apart in the last 16 draw but will now meet for the title.
In the semi-finals Katy, who celebrated her 20th birthday earlier this month beat Kirsty Richards 2-1 winning the first set but losing the second, however, clinched her place in the final by winning the opening two ends of the best of three ends tie breaker to set up a unique family affair.
Lucy had a much more comfortable passage after defeating England internationals Devon Copper (Riverain, Hitchin, Herts) and Chelsea Tomlin (Spalding, Herts) both 2-0 she recorded another 2-0 success in the semi-finals over Harriet Stevens (Torquay United) to book her place in the final today against her sister Katy.
