KELVIN Young climbed off the canvas to claim a majority points success over Francis Tchoffo.
The Penhill pugilist was defending his IBO inter-continental super-middleweight title for the first time against Tchoffo.
And the big swinging Frenchman had the 27-year-old down in the sixth round in a pulsating contest at the Oasis Leisure Centre.
But in the end it was Young’s skills that saw him take two cards 96-94, and a 96-96 decision on the other.
