JAMIE Cox made a stunning return to action with a first round knockout of Alistair Warren tonight at the Wolverhampton Civic.
The Swindon southpaw, who last fought 20 months ago, needed just 17 seconds to send his opponent crashing to the canvas with crushing right hand to the head.
The 2006 Commonwealth Games gold medallist brought the contest to an end with less than 30 seconds of the opening round remaining with a hard left hook which saw the referee abandon his 10 count.
The win over Warren improves the former Walcot amateur to 18 wins from as many fights.
