LAWRENCE Bennett successfully defended his Southern Area cruiserweight title this evening with a first round stoppage of Jamie Hearn.
The self-styled Bad Boy headed to the York Hall in determined mood and wasted little in getting rid of Hearn.
The win for Bennett was also the first victory inside the distance for the 32-year-old.
