Cirencester ABC travelled to Exeter with 11-year-old Lewis Varey in a bout against Wayne Birch from the host club.
Varey was having his second bout in two weeks and started the first round well, catching the Exeter boxer with straight and double jabs, right-hand punches and did not allow Birch to get his punches off.
In the second round Varey upped his pace, sending the head of Birch back and having the more cleaner scoring shots.
Varey landed a straight right-hand punch in the third round which resulted in the Exeter boxer having an eight standing count from the referee and he went on to win on a unanimous points decision.
ABA coach Tommy Varey said: “This is Lewis’ second bout and he boxed brilliant and totally outclassed the Exeter lad.”
Cirencester are set to travel again to Bristol and Banbury this weekend.
