WILTSHIRE are on the brink of elimination from the MCCA Trophy group stages after losing by six wickets at Lincolnshire.
Goatacre’s Ed Kilbee made 36 in the early stages but the county side collapsed to 136-6, before Purton’s Tom Bowler helped drag the score up to 224-9.
An indisciplined bowling performance from Wiltshire saw the hosts reach their target on 37.5 overs, as they made 228-4. Bowler took 2-39 off 10 overs.
Wiltshire’s next match in the Trophy is against Suffolk at Devizes on Sunday, May 19 (11am).
