SWINDON NALGO secured their eighth victory of the season as they saw off Swindon Civil Service in a local derby.
NALGO posted 230 as Latif Hussein scored 69 and Imran Dastagir 43 and then bowled out Service for 162 as Sanjay Chauhan took 4-27.
Swindon United Churches maintained their interest in second place in Division Three with an 80-run win over Seagry.
Jimmy Mann's 93 set up Churches’ 205-6, with Chris Gilchrist hitting 42 and Keith Coatsworth an unbeaten 27.
Alan Norman led the Seagry attack with 4-51, but the reply fell well short on 125 all out.
Josh Hugo scored a half century for Seagry but Alan Bolvvin’s 6-32 did the damage, while Mann and Chris Spackman took two wickets each.
Wootton Bassett 2nds defeated Swindon B in their Division Four derby.
Swindon were dismissed for 137, Ash Baden scoring 35, but Paul Huckin took 4-31, Mark Lazenby 2-35 and Paul Curtis 2-26 for Bassett.
The reply was largely untroubled, Josh Smith scoring an unbeaten 74 and Lewis Tyrie 42 as Bassett reached 140-2.
In Division Six, White Horse rose to the league’s summit courtesy of a 169-run win over Highworth at Manor Farm.
Batting first, Horse recovered from losing three early wickets to post 248-8 from their 45 overs.
Sam Morshead made 62 and John Candy 47 as the hosts set a formidable target.
In reply, Highworth couldn’t get going and Ian Sharpe’s tidy figures of 4-18 led the way as the visitors were bowled out for just 79 in 26.3 overs.
