AMY Jolliffe bagged four goals as Swindon Town Development romped to a 10-0 win over Highworth Town in the Open Age division.

Amy Baines, Steph Quince, Steph Houston, Fran Jenkins and Kathryn Bach completed the scoring to keep Town at the summit.

Swindon Spitfires United returned home with an 8-2 success at Frome Town Reserves.

Claire Moreton bagged the first of her hat-trick within 60 seconds of the start after being played in by Katrina Gough before netting her second two minutes later after converting Mel Bristow’s cross.

Frome pulled a goal back on 23 minutes only for Bristow to restore the two-goal advantage 12 minutes later after Morgan Whitaker put her through, with the latter then adding the fourth five minutes before the interval.

Moreton completed her hat-trick four minutes into the second half to make it 5-1.

Frome grabbed their second on the hour mark, but Spitfires made it 6-2 when Diane George headed home Moreton’s corner.

Carla Compton added the seventh after being played in by Bristow, who rounded off the scoring 10 minutes from time.

A depleted Spitfires Development side lost 4-2 to Laverstock and Ford.

Hannah Gulliver got the Spitfires off to the perfect start as she found the net from the edge of the area after only 90 seconds.

However, Laverstock drew level on 20 minutes when they capitalised on a defensive mix-up, before taking the lead three minutes later with a spectacular long-range effort.

An Amy Matthews’ header sent the two sides in at the break 2-2.

Laverstock piled on the pressure in the second half and had a shot cleared off the line before scoring from the penalty spot on the hour.

Laverstock complete the win soon after when a long ball over the top beat the Spitfires defence to allow the visiting striker to run in and score.

Highworth Town Under 13s suffered their first defeat of the season as they were beaten 3-2 at Ashton Keynes.

Lucy West’s long-range effort was all that separated the teams at half-time despite Keynes having the best of the play.

The second period followed the same pattern and Keynes got their just rewards with two quick goals to take the lead.

Good work in the Highworth goal from keeper Gabby Groves kept the score down and the girls looked to have secured a point when Emily Bristow broke through to equalise.

However, Ashton Keynes broke through down the left and scored a deserved winner in added time.

Meanwhile, Kimberley Jackson hit four for Spitfires Under 13s in their 13-1 win at Westbury Belles. Erin Pearce (3), Lily Puffet (2), Kayleigh Stanley (2), Shannon Lindsell and Emma Masi completed the scoring.

Poppy Cottrill bagged a brace for Spitfires Under 17s, but it was not enough to prevent Trowbridge Town running out 11-4 winners. Chiarna Deller and Chloe Mason added the others for visitors.

Lucy Scrannage, Tamsin Davies, Charlie Tinson and Lani Dickinson were on target for Spitfires Under 15s as they defeated Melksham Town 4-0.

Meanwhile, Spitfires Under 11s played their first development game against Derry Hill, with several players playing their first competitive seven-a-side match.
