Ferndale Rodbourne were edged out 2-1 in an excellent cup tie by Broad Town Colts.
The match saw two fully committed teams who were willing to battle and give their all right through to the final whistle.
Broad Town opened the scoring, however, Ferndale levelled the score through a calm finish from Brandon Page.
Kamran Muhid had his superb solo run and effort pushed on to the post before Kyle Meader-Harris produced a penalty save to deny Broad Town.
A superb end to end battle ensued and despite pressure from Ferndale, Broad Town held their nerve and the lead to ensure their name entered the draw for the quarter-final.
Harry Johnson was awarded Ferndale’s player of the match for his movement off the ball,
