HIGHWORTH Town booked their place in the semi finals of the Wiltshire Senior Cup as they defeated Bradford Town 2-0 at the Elms last night.
Jeff Roberts' side had the result wrapped up by half-time as they ended the run of their Toolstation League Premier Division opponents.
They took the lead when Fabian McCarthy netted from a Keiron Gleed cross and Gleed turned scorer later in the half after being found by Jonny Aitkenhead.
Royal Wootton Bassett Town also made cup progress last night, but needed extra time to get past Lydney Town in the Hellenic Floodlit Cup.
After a goalless 90 minutes, Steve Robertson bagged a brace for the home side before the game was curtailed by floodlight failure, with Bassett progressing.
