  • RAYCHEM retained second place in the Regional League 2 table despite slipping to a 42-39 defeat away at Titans.

The Swindon side made a 280-mile round trip to Devon for the contest against the side sitting directly beneath them in the table, and took to the court in a positive frame of mind as they looked to continue their good recent winning run.

Titans’ rugged defence and accurate shooting in attack enabled them to storm into a six-goal lead by the end of quarter one, which ultimately proved to be Raychem's undoing as the visitors were unable to make up the gap through the game, despite winning the second and fourth quarters and drawing a entertaining third.

Despite the defeat Raychem gained two league points which retained their league position, with the player of the match award going to Kelly Morgan.

Raychem’s next home game is at home to local rivals Pinehurst on Saturday.
