WROUGHTON rider Georgia King excelled at the first Bailey’s Horse Feeds-sponsored Jump Training fixture of the 2015 season held at Hartpury College this weekend.

In the 90cm class, 12-year-old King finished runner up with her own 13-year-gelding Mojo IV on a style mark of 19.50, while 14-year-old Kate Shapland from Taunton, Somerset also added nothing to her style mark of 21.50 to take third atop Uris Cavalier.

Wiltshire 11-year-old Emma Jowett, from Salisbury, dominated the competition, claiming the top spot in both the BE80 and BE90 level classes aboard Madeleine Taylor’s 2012 European Pony Team silver medal winner Bandalera.

Twelve-year-old Jemima Stratton, from Warminster, denied Jowett a one-two in the 80cm class as she piloted her own nine year old gelding into second, with Jowett third on 31.50 with her second ride Buttons III.
