WANBOROUGH wheelchair tennis star Louise Hunt has followed up her bronze medal for Great Britain at last week’s World Team Cup in Turkey with one of the best individual results of her career.
The 24-year-old won the ITF 2 Series Polish Open women’s singles crown.
British number three Hunt, who went into the tournament as fourth seed, beat Dutch second seed and world number 11 Michaela Spaanstra 6-3, 7-6 (11) in the semi-final before defeating top seed Katharina Kruger, from Germany, 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 in the final.
