JESSICA Doerr got over the disappointment of losing to her doubles partner Amelia Bissett in the under14 Wiltshire girls singles to win the under 14 girls doubles at the the recent Wiltshire County Junior Championships.

Doerr had also suffered disappointment in the under 18s girls singles, where she lost to fellow Next Gen player Niamh Townsend.

There were two brother and sister successes, Alex and Rebecca Heaps, won the boys under 14s and girls under 10s under singles and Jessica and Anthony Longjohn, from Swindon, the girls and boys under nine events. Anthony also won the boys under eight title.
