DEFENDING champions Swindon Junior Flames continued the defence of their BiSHA South title after emerging unbeaten from a double-header against Oxford Hurricanes and Chippy Trixters at the Farnborough Leisure Centre.

Behind to an early goal against Oxford, Swindon replied after five minutes when Joseph Llewellyn tucked home from close range.

Oxford restored their lead but Tristan Ward and Robert Bean put them ahead for the first time.

Oxford levelled in the second period but Swindon again regained the lead when Edward Quant picked up a pass from Richard Wilson and fired home before Oxford levelled again with four minutes to play.

Against Chippy Trixters, the deadlock was broken after five minutes by Ethan Easton and Swindon took control of the first period and added a brace from Reed Sayers, Wilson and a tap-in from Easton.

Doubles from Ward and Dylan Bonner and Sayers secured a comfortable 10-3 win.
