CHARLIE Nesbitt enjoyed a fine weekend at Snetteron in the round five of the Hel Performance Motostar Championship as he proved too good for the rest of the field.

Having qualified for Saturday’s first race in pole position on Friday, Nesbitt made a flying start and led all the way of the nine lap race to win by 4.246 seconds.

Starting in second on Sunday, the 15-year-old from Swindon again made a fine start and was never troubled as he lead the pack home by more than eight seconds.

Meanwhile, Max Cook picked up seven points in the Motostar Moto3 GP series at the same track after finishing his two races in 13th and 12th respectively.

The points gained in Norfolk moved the 13-year-old up to 60 for the season, however, he slipped to 11th in the overall standings having previously been inside the top 10.
