Simon Belcher from Swindon took part in the Legends winter series championship at Brands Hatch in Kent.
Belcher's Legends car is a 120 bhp Yamaha-powered machine which resembles American cars of the 1930s, and is capable of speeds of well over 75 mph.
At the end of Saturday's racing Simon had managed two third places and a sixth out of 31 entries. He also had the fastest lap in all of the three races on Saturday for the circuit which measured 1.19 miles in length.
In the first two races on Sunday, Belcher managed a fourth and fifth place. The final race turned out to be a disaster. Going into the famous Paddock Hill bend he was pushed into the gravel and went from being in the leading pack of cars to the last car running on the circuit.
He managed to get his car out of the gravel and onto the race track and set about chasing the cars ahead, eventually finishing in 20th place.
