Swindon came out firing on all cylinders in the second half, really taking the game to the students.

And John Scrase got the breakthrough for Swindon, pulling the sides back on level terms. Scrase, back in the side after a five-week absence because of injury, weaved some magic along the baseline before coolly flicking over the keeper.

Swindon continued to dominate and got a deserved second goal when Tom Gillingham scored after a quick break after good work from Craig Sage and King. Salmon drove into the Bristol area before finding Gillingham, who calmly slotted the ball through the legs of the advancing goalkeeper.

Bristol then through everything at Swindon for the remaining 15 minutes but the home side hung on, thanks largely to a fine performance at the back from Craig Sage On Saturday Swindon travel to City of Bath.
