SWINDON kart star Jack Sweeney claimed third place in the Castle Combe Junior Karting Championship after the delayed final round of the competition took place last weekend.
After the race was snowed off at the end of 2010, all the young riders were out in force despite the icy and cold conditions.
Weston-Super-Mare racer James Johnson, who was in consistent form all season, was crowned this season’s winner but Sweeney put up a superb to grab third place.
Johnson won an ARKS pack which enables him to progress further in the exciting world of Motorsport.
