FORMER Swindon Robins speedway ace Steve Masters will resume his challenge in the QRA British Quad Dirt Track championships on Sunday when he takes to the track at Grangewood Farm in Dauntsey.

Swindon-based Masters will be up against series leader Dan Berwick from Kent, while other challengers include British Masters qualifier Scott Creswell, Darren Dew, Ben Millichap and Simon Phillips.

Wiltshire rides include veterans Kevin Akers and Dave Abbott and youngster Luck Tuck.

In the Quads, reigning QRA British Quad Beach Cross champion Michael Nash is looking to add the inaugural British Dirt Track Cross Championship title to his collection.

He faces tough opposition from the likes of current Quad Oval championship leader Danny Smith from Reading and Ben Richmond, winner of the Grand Final at the recent Dirt Track round at Oxford Stadium.

The first race will be at 11.45am, with practice from 10am. The prices are adults £10, concessions (students and OAPS with ID) £7, children 12-16 years of age £3 and children 11 and under are free.
